Alternacig – All the Good Without the Bad

Important Notice: Due to a lack of transparency and a number of complaints which have been filed against Alternacig, both from the customers and on our part as well, we have decided to discontinue our promotion of it. There are numerous other alternative electronic cigarette brands you can give a shot though, with the ones we have reviewed being listed below.

  1. What is the chemical in the cartridge? Where is the Disclosure of the chemicals so I can be the judge?

  2. Hey there, it seems that the alternacig website is a bit lacking on that information, but the ingredients used for the cartridge are virtually the same across every brand. In the follow link you can find a full list of ingredients which are almost always, if not always used for the production of cartridges:

If you scroll down you can see a neat table where everything is laid out, and there is even a link below which compares it to the ingredients used in regular cigarettes.

    1. Hello, sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I've been quite busy recently. To answer the question, yes, Alternacigs do have nicotine in the cartridge, but as of now I don't think there are many (if any?) choices to make when it comes to the strength of the nicotine as well as the cartomizer's flavor.

  5. I love my Alternacigs, just would like to know how come Alternacigs doesn't have flavored cartomizers? i think that would be very nice like cherry vanilla, coffee, peppermint tea,or green tea, peach, blueberry. This is something to think about.

    1. Hey, first of all thanks for taking the time to comment, it's much appreciated. As for the flavored cartomizers, I would assume it's because Alternacigs are still relatively new and the company hasn't had a lot of time to develop its products. I'd wager that in the near future we'll see a bunch of Alternacig flavors hit the market.

  7. I have been a long time smoker of marlboro reds and I ordered the alternacig and I've had it for a week now and its not that strong. It says 1.2% on the cartomizer. Is there a way to get them stronger?

    1. Hey there, first of all thanks for taking the time to post the comment. Second of all, the only safe way I know of to get stronger electronic cigarettes would be to get cartridges with a greater strength/nicotine percentage. Many companies are selling their cartridges based on those measurements.

However, as far as I can see, the Alternacig selection is limited in comparison to the rest out there and is really only meant for beginners who want to see what the fuss is all about.

I hope this answers your question.

  8. I was not aware there is nicotine in the cigs. I want a refund. I tried to call customer service 800-583-5416 but keep getting disconnected after waiting for 10 minutes. I press the selection but the recording keeps cycling then nothing. The order desk says they can't help me. Poor customer service which is virtually nonexistent for me. I'm about ready to to file a complaint. Any ideas?

    1. Hey Marion, we have recently received a few complaints similar to yours, and for this reason we have decided to stop promoting AlternaCig. As for what steps you can take next, at this point I'm pretty sure that filing a complaint against them for fraud or something similar would be your best course of action. It is obvious they want to avoid their customers and unfortunately, I don't believe they will gave anyone the money they owe, including affiliates such as us.
