How to Fight Against Rheumatoid Arthritis with the Help of Food

About Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid Arthritis
There are numerous ways in which arthritis can affect the body, and without a doubt the rheumatoid version of the disease is by far the worst one. Basically, it causes inflammation in your joints, possibly affecting the entire body and causing a massive amount of pain.

The symptoms which accompany it include fever, a loss of appetite, and an unshakeable feeling of general illness.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a type of autoimmune disease, meaning that it takes place due to deficiencies found in the immune system. In this particular case, it causes an abnormal response which causes the body’s immune cells to destroy the linings between the joints and some internal organs, causing many inflammations to take place.

As far as factors which influence one’s predisposition to developing rheumatoid arthritis, researchers so far believe that one’s hormones, genetic makeup, and diet to be the main ones.

Using Food to Fight Back

To begin with, it is important to ensure that your diet is rich in various vitamins and minerals, most notably vitamins C and E which researchers believe to play an important role in preventing the arthritis’ formation. The antioxidant properties in the vitamin E can be further enhanced with the use of selenium, making such a combination a very powerful weapon for fighting inflammations. Also, it ought to be mentioned that low selenium levels were associated with the development of the disease.

To stay in the world of antioxidants for just a little longer, it is suspected that both green tea and zinc can do wonders to alleviate the disease’s symptoms, and perhaps even slow down or prevent its apparition in the first place. Certain studies have even linked the consumption of green tea to the reduction of rheumatoid arthritis rates, especially for those who drink at least four cups of it per day. Also, turmeric, the spice found in curry powder, was also observed to contain very powerful antioxidant properties, even promoting the body’s own anti-inflammatory system.

Finally, bromelain, omega-3 fatty acids and ginger all have extremely powerful anti-inflammatory properties, not to mention that the omega-3 acids inhibit the production of prostaglandins and leukotrienes, two compounds responsible for inflammations.

Until we can find a way to vaccinate this disease and destroy it once and for all, we will have to rely on prevention and numbing of the symptoms, something the right foods can tremendously help you with.

The Many Benefits of Olive Oil for Hair Growth

Benefits of Olive Oil for Hair Growth
The usage of oils for hair care purposes has drastically increased over the past few months, mainly due to the discovery of a large number of beneficial properties in products such as coconut oil, castor oil, and yes, olive oil. However, due to the discovery of its potential being quite recent, many are still unaware of the many benefits of olive oil for hair growth, and as such are avoiding it like the plague.

Because we all have different hair types with unique compositions, the oil needed for the best results differs from one person to the next, meaning that many people are avoiding the best possible solution to their problems. And so, what follows is a look into the most important benefits olive oil has for your hair growth.

  • Improves the Blood Circulation to the Scalp

One of the most important benefits of massaging the olive straight into your scalp is that it will help stimulate activity in your hair follicles, promoting the circulation of blood to them. When a stronger stream of blood flows to your hair, it starts to grow faster, thicker and more resilient.

  • Promote and Maintain Scalp and Skin Health

Olive oil is bursting at the seams with antioxidant agents, which have for purpose to dilute pores and blood vessels, allowing blood and oxygen to circulate much more freely. In turn, this helps to preserve your scalp and the skin on your head in good shape without any clogged pores or blood vessels, allowing your hair to grow faster and more freely, not to mention it can help to undo the damage caused by the overuse of hair products.

  • Prevents the Secretion of DHT Hormones

As it turns out, in many cases an overload of DHT hormones is responsible for hair loss, seeing as how the greater their numbers, the narrower the follicle shafts become, preventing them from developing properly. Olive oil has been observed to inhibit the production of these DHT hormones, effectively playing a huge role in fighting against hair loss.

  • Serves as a Natural Conditioner

Hair products with pharmaceutical chemicals in them are a big reason as to why people experience hair problems these days, and the good news is that olive oil can be used as a completely natural conditioner without any side effects. You need only a bit of it to make your soft and shiny, which is actually why olive oil has been used as a body wash and hair conditioner for thousands of years before us.

  • Kill off the Hair’s Natural Enemies

To finish things off, it seems as if there are countless things out there hunting for your hair, but they don’t stand an iota of a chance against the olive oil’s anti-fungal, bacterial and viral properties. In other words, the oil can word off lice, bacteria, viruses and prevent the development of any fungus, effectively keeping your head and hair healthier.

As you can see, though it may sound a bit weird in today’s context, going back to our roots and using this oil is actually quite a smart idea now that we know about the many benefits of olive oil for hair growth; it can do everything from turning the hair smooth to helping it grow back again after being lost. If there is some kind of magic cure for hair loss in this world, olive oil is the next step towards it.

Vanquishing Psoriasis with Food

Learning About Psoriasis

Psoriasis
Psoriasis

Though we do not see it, the skin is constantly in action, shedding away its old cells and replacing them with brand new ones.

In some people though, that process becomes accelerated, resulting in too many new skin cells being pushed up top, which in turn leads to a condition called psoriasis, and it manifests itself in the form of small and thick skin patches that can appear anywhere on the body, but mostly arms and legs.

Though it is not contagious, painful or itchy for most people, in 15% to 20% of cases the condition does become debilitating with the onset of joint pain and inflammation. It affects men and women equally and typically manifests itself between the ages of ten and thirty.

We are not a hundred percent sure yet, but a number of factors contribute to the development of psoriasis, with the most important ones being one’s genetic predisposition and diet. As you can guess, though fighting the condition may be an uphill battle, there are ways you can make the climb easier, and one of them is making sure that you are eating the best foods you can to destroy psoriasis.

Using Foods to Help

There is still some research to be done on the subject, we know without a doubt that a diet rich in antioxidants (mainly gotten from fruits and vegetables) is one of the best ways of ensuring that you have a healthy and functional skin. Also, foods with plenty of vitamin C can help to protect your skin against radical damage caused by the environment, not to mention it contains a fair amount of antioxidants as well.

In addition, people with psoriasis are commonly observed to have low levels of vitamin A, zinc and selenium, meaning you should definitely try to cram some of them into your daily diet. You may also want to increase your beta-carotene intake as it is converted to vitamin A in the body.

Omega-3 fatty acids can also help with psoriasis, mainly by reducing the inflammation which may accompany it. As a matter of fact, a study demonstrated that people who have higher levels of leukotrienes (an inflammatory agent) are more likely to develop psoriasis, and you can get rid of most of them with the above-mentioned fatty acids.

Finally, it ought to be mentioned that even though further studies on the subject are necessary, so far it was observed that patients who have a gluten-free diet and are not overweight have an easier time getting rid of the condition.

To conclude, psoriasis may not be the worst condition you could get out there (far from it), but it is unsightly and if left untreated, it can end up making your daily life something akin to a real nightmare. Having the right diet is the first step on the road to recovery from it, and if you are lucky and dedicated enough, it may very well be the last one as well.

Is Coconut Oil Good for your Hair? A Factual Exploration

Though it was claimed by many people that coconut oil has various health benefits, with one of them being hair growth, there is still quite a large number of others who are either disdainful of the idea or are still on the fence about it.

The problem, in my opinion, is that very few have actually bothered to gather research data on coconut oil to see which of its benefits were proven. And so, I have taken it upon myself to provide you with some evidence that the answer to “is coconut oil good for your hair?” is a resounding “yes”.

The Proven Health Benefits

Analysis conducted on the ingredients of coconut oil has shown that it contains a large amount of medium chain triglycerides, which are metabolized faster than its counterparts and used for energy much quicker. They have also been linked with positive effects on brain disorders such as Alzheimer’s and epilepsy.

It was observed that many people around the world who eat a lot of coconut also happen to be some of the healthiest humans on Earth. For instance, the Tokelauans in the South Pacific seem to eat coconuts by the bucket (60% of their calories come from them), and there is no evidence of these people having any kind of heart disease.

Benefits for your Hair

That’s just scratching the tip of the iceberg in regards to its health benefits, but let us move on to the part you were probably waiting for, its hair-related benefits. For starters, coconut oil contains a lot of lauric acid, great for killing bacteria, viruses and fungi, preventing any infections and such from developing on your scalp.

Seeing as how we are talking about an oil, it is a given that it contains a whole lot of different fatty acids, and when applied directly to the scalp, they help to keep it moisturized, stimulating activity in your hair follicles.

Coconut oil is also quite rich in various nutrients, and virtually all of them are beneficial for your body, whether you apply them on your hair or ingest them. In order to grow, hair requires a load of different nutrients, and coconut oil pretty much has all of them.

Revitol Skin Tag Remover – The Natural Way of Saying No to Skin Tags

Revitol Skin Tag Remover – The Natural Way of Saying No to Skin Tags
Though skin tags aren’t exactly harmful in any way (except if you tear them off, which results in hefty bleeding), they can be quite unsightly if they appear in the wrong places, and perhaps even uncomfortable in some situations. For those who don’t exactly know what they are, skin tags are basically small growths of soft skin, usually taking on the shape of little balls.

They just hang around there, ruining your appearance without any purpose. The worst part is that removing those skin tags requires a relatively expensive and complicated procedure, which on top of everything also tends to leave some scars. Fortunately, it seems that a natural formula has finally been devised to help with the problem, and it comes in the form of the Revitol Skin Tag Remover.

What is Revitol Skin Tag Remover?

As the name clearly indicates it, we are talking about a formula designed to remove skin tags. It is a completely natural, pain-free and safe method of skin tag removal put together from numerous plant extracts which slowly help to remove skin overgrowths. The maiun active ingredient is thujaoccidentalis, an oil that is widely used around the world for its skin care benefits. In other words, it is perfectly safe to try, and even if by some great misfortune it doesn’t work, you won’t have to contend with any hefty fees or debilitating side effects while you are searching for another solution.

Does Revitol Skin Tag Remover Work Well?

And so, does the Revitol Skin Tag Remover formula actually work well, or do you constantly need to use it by the bucket to see some kind of result? Well, to begin with, we all have different skin composures, meaning that for a small percentage of those who try it, the product does indeed fail. However, when looking at the big picture and taking into account the majority of people who have tried Revitol Skin Tag Remover, it becomes clear that given enough time, it works exactly as advertised.

Skin tags
No, you aren’t going to see improvements right after applying it, nor will your skin tags magically fall off within a few days. Rather, you simply need to keep on using day after day, and you will see that after some time, your skin tags will get smaller and smaller, to the point where they just disappear. In other words, patience and diligence are the real keys to making this Revitol product work.

In the end, if you are trying to take good care of your skin (as you should, for we all have only one of it) and have some skin tags you would like to see gone, then I definitely recommend that you at least consider giving Revitol Skin Tag Remover a shot; if all the information on it is to be believed, it is indeed one of the best, if not the best anti-skin tag solution that has come along in a very long time.

A Quick and Easy Guide for How to Use Castor Oil for Hair Growth

Castor oil has recently gained a lot in terms of popularity due to the many benefits it bears for hair growth, but unfortunately, many people who use it for the first time don’t really know how to go about it. As a result, they misapply the oil, preventing it from effectively accomplishing the very thing it set out to do.

To make matters even worse, many of those falling victim to the first-timer trap end up thinking that they were scammed and the oil doesn’t really work, undermining its reputation and making them pass up a real chance at fixing their problems. In any case, in an attempt to help prevent that from happening in the future, what follows is a brief guide on how to use castor oil for hair growth properly.

A Quick and Easy Guide for How to Use Castor Oil for Hair Growth

The Regular Technique

To begin, make sure you are wearing a shirt you don’t mind getting dirty, have a shower cap (or saran wrap), and of course, your oil all ready.
  • Next, grab your hair and do your best to separate it into two parts down the middle of your head.
  • Following that, wet your fingers, apply some of the oil on the tips of your phalanges, and start thoroughly massaging your hair, from the follicles in the middle of the division towards the ends of your strands.
  • Once the split between the hairs and the scalp have been massaged, cover the rest of your hair with the oil. Let it sit a bit while having it wrapped in the shower cap.
  • Wait an hour or two, and wash it away with your shampoo. Perform the process once a day until you are satisfied with the condition of your hair.

Alternative Methods

Once you have the standard technique down, you can start to branch out a bit and use the castor oil with your conditioner. You can either use it during your showers in its regular form, or you can go all the way and mix the oil with an organic conditioner, making sure the mixture is no more than one-fifth oil.

You can also use the steam treatment method, which consists of heating up the oil, massaging your hair with it as was previously instructed, and then placing a shower cap on your head for about two to three minutes. After that, take a heated towel or a heat cap, and keep it on your hair for ten to fifteen minutes. Most people using this method report accelerated hair growth within a couple of weeks.

There are plenty of other methods you can try, but in the end, it remains that how to use castor oil for hair growth is far from being rocket science; it is just a matter of being patient and using the right techniques. If you do it properly and regularly, you can expect results to come as soon as one or two weeks after starting the treatment.

Health Benefits of the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet and Fasting Days Recipes

I have already given a review of the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet itself, and if you've already checked it out then you know that one part I haven’t discussed yet are the concrete health benefits of going through with this diet. As such, I’m going to discuss that in-depth in this article, and as a little bonus, I’ll give you a few of the recipes that you are supposed to use during your fasting days.

The Main Health Benefits

To begin with, the diet’s purpose is to improve the function of your organs and prevent the formation of diseases. The fasting process is a type of hormesis, which refers to being made stronger and more resilient through exposure to rough conditions.

In other words, by stressing your body with two fasting days per week, you are making it more resilient by forcing your immune system to work harder. As such, you become less likely to suffer from high blood pressure, not to mention that your immune system will be much better-prepared to dispose of any cancer cells.

The sudden reduction of overall food consumed on the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet leads to a natural decrease in insulin production, which can be beneficial for anyone, either in helping to control or even prevent diabetes.

IGF-1, a growth factor hormone which was actually discussed previously, is also reduced with the help of the diet. Excessive levels of IGF-1 in adults have been linked with the development of cancer, meaning that reducing them will further ward your body against this deadly disease.

Health Benefits of the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet

Finally, it has to be added that once you finally manage to make your way through the diet and achieve your ideal weight, you will already have a maintenance program to follow for your regular life. In other words, unlike with many other diets out there, you are not going to revert to your original lifestyle, at least not unless you really want it that way. Indeed, the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet is a long-term program designed to bring results that will last you a lifetime.

What the Study Says

There was actually a scientific study performed on the effects of calorie restriction and intermittent fasting (basically the techniques used in the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet), and though it was done on mice, the results were quite encouraging.

It was found that the ones placed on the diet cycle were far less likely to develop signs of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease than their counterparts, even if they were genetically engineered for it. It is believed that such results were observed due to the fact that fasting helps to produce more protein in your brain, effectively making you sharper and more capable, at least mentally.

Recipes for Fasting Days

As a little bonus, just to give you a taste of what it will be like to live through a day of fasting, I present to you the typical plan you will be asked to follow, as well as some recipes for the various foods you will be able to quickly make and eat during that stretch of time.

Two Typical Fast Day Meal Planners

  • Breakfast: 1 poached egg on half a slice of wholemeal toast spread with 1 teaspoon of low-fat spread and 1 medium tomato grilled (163 calories)
  • Lunch/Snack: 1 rounded tablespoon (30g) of tzatziki with 100g cucumber and red pepper sticks (60 calories)
  • Dinner: Thai Noodles with Tofu (276 calories)
  • TOTAL - 499 CALORIES

  • Breakfast: Red Fruit Salad with 50g Greek yoghurt ( 132 calories)
  • Lunch/Snack: 2 clementines (44 calories)
  • Dinner: Grilled Sea Bass with Cherry Tomatoes with steamed broccoli and spinach and 70g boiled new potatoes in their skins (330 calories)
  • TOTAL - 506 calories

Snacks That are 100 Calories or Less:

  • 1 slice of parma ham wrapped around a breadstick – 58 calories
  • 1 medium apple – 53 calories
  • 1 round tablespoon of tzatziki with 100g cucumber and red pepper sticks – 60 calories
  • 1 rye crispbread with 30 g light soft cheese – 82 calories
  • 2 clementines and 1 kiwifruit – 73 calories
  • 300g shop bought fresh carrot and coriander soup – 89 calories
  • 1 small glass (150ml) low fat strawberry milkshake – 90 calories
  • 1 slice of fruit loaf – 98 calories
  • 1 hard- boiled egg: 84 calories
  • 15g salted popcorn: 83 calories

Snacks That are 50 Calories or Less:

  • 1 slice of cantaloupe melon - 23 calories
  • 80g apple and grape snack pack - 45 calories
  • 50g cooked jumbo prawns with a squeeze of lemon – 42 calories
  • 1 ginger nut biscuit – 47 calories
  • 3 seafood sticks – 50 calories
  • ½ cup (80g) mango cubes – 46 calories
  • 2 slices of wafer-thin ham wrapped round a celery stick – 43 calories
  • 100g cherry tomatoes – 20 calories
  • 2 Melba toasts spread with 1 level teaspoon of reduced-sugar jam – 34 calories
  • 1 mini pork salami sausage – 38 calories

And so, as you can see, not only is the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet advantageous in virtually every way
imaginable, but a day of fasting is also far from being the horror you thought it would be. If you are overweight, are worried about your health, and have had trouble dropping the pounds in the past, then I wholeheartedly recommend you at least consider giving the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet a shot. It’s scientifically-backed and virtually all who have tried it have reported success, meaning it has a very good chance of working for you… besides, if you never try anything new, how will you find something that works?

An Overview of what the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet has to Offer

5:2 Fast Formula Diet
Over the past few years, as I’m sure you know, there have been plenty of different diets that have come and gone, and though most of them turned out to be nothing but pipe dreams, a few of them actually proved effective.

We are far from actually having achieved a miracle diet that will work fast and easy for everyone out there, though we are slowly and surely inching our way towards it.

As it turns out, the next phase in this progress came in the form of the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet. Recently, it has been making a real splash in the weight loss industry, turning heads left and right for its unconventional approach and very promising results. What follows is an exploration of the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet, looking into what it is and how it actually works.

What is the 5:2 Fast Formula?

To begin, let us start with the obvious… what is it that we are looking at here? Well, as you know it is a diet, and it is called the way it is due to the fact that the dieter is required to fast two days per week, and eat regularly during the other five.

This diet was mainly made for those who, in the past, have had a very hard time dropping the pounds, whether it was through exercising or dieting. Instead of just cutting down on your calories, this diet aims to recondition the way in which your brain perceives food.

In other words, your perception of one serving is going to change, so will the pace at which you eat, and even your overall appetite. In other words, you will basically re-learn to ration your food properly so that your body has just enough of it.

How the 5:2 Fast Formula Diet Works

To explain it as simply as possible, for two days during the week your caloric intake will be severely restricted (no, fasting doesn’t actually mean to stop eating in this context), and during the other five you will be pushed towards taking a healthier approach towards the foods you eat.

The fasting is necessary seeing as how it lowers levels of the IGF-1 hormone responsible for growth; though young kids need the hormone to grow, in adults it can cause damages and hamper weight loss efforts. In addition, the tremendous lack of calories will force your body to dig deep into its own fat sources, accelerating the process.

5:2 Fast Formula Diet

As you can guess, pretty much the entirety of the diet is geared towards healthy eating. What does it mean? On one hand, you are going to be eating low calorie amounts (at least relative to what you were eating before the diet), and on the other, you will be receiving literally all the nutrients the human body needs to function properly. Not only are you going to be losing, but you will most assuredly feel more capable and alert as well as far less sluggish than usual.

Finally, as was already somewhat-discussed up above, the fasting days will have for purpose to recondition your brain, changing the way in which it perceives food on the whole. Waiting for longer periods of time before eating and consuming smaller portions will slowly become the norm for you, and in the end, eating small and healthy meals will become second-nature.

Naturally, there is more to discuss on the topic of the 5:2 Fast Formula diet, so if you would like to learn more you can check out the second part of the review discussing the health benefits and a few recipes to eat on the fasting days, or you can head over directly to the website and get your info straight from the source.

Either way, if you have experienced trouble losing weight in the past, I highly recommend you try the 5:2 Fast Formula… so far, the results have been inspiring to say the least.

Trimming the Pounds by Eating the Right Foods

Trimming the Pounds by Eating the Right Foods - Broccoli
Broccoli
Scientifically-defined, being overweight means that you weigh at least 20% over your ideal weight, and as you can guess, it is one of the conditions most prevalent around the entire world, both in adults and children alike. As you may well know, being overweight raises your risk of falling prey to various diseases and conditions, and the sooner you start dropping the weight, the better off you are going to be.

Needless to say, being overweight originates from a poor diet and a lack of physical activity, but it was also recently discovered that genetics can play a very important part in it. Regardless, there is an entire industry dedicated to helping you lose weight, and one of the best ways to fight your problem is by starting to eat the right foods.

The Importance of Food in Weight Loss

Most medical experts out there agree with each other that having a healthy and balanced diet is perhaps the most important factor contributing to long-term weight loss. If you do not have a diet which gives you the calories you need while feeding your body with all the necessary nutrients, you will often find yourself fluctuating in weight, becoming the go-to example of a yo-yo dieter.

Now, I’m not suggesting that you only start eating foods you don’t like or deprive your body of something… rather, there are numerous healthy substitutions you can use that will fill you up and pave the way for a healthier body.

Using Foods for Weight Loss

To begin you can start by splitting up your meals into smaller portions over the course of the day. You will be able to eat less on the whole while preventing any hunger cravings from getting the better of you. You can also eat at a slower pace to allow your stomach to fill itself and send the appropriate signals to your brain, preventing you from overeating.

Foods with dietary fiber can also help with that as they tend to fill you up sooner rather than later and generally take a little while to eat. Soluble fiber can also control hunger cravings by regulating your blood sugar levels.

After that, you can replace sugar with natural sweeteners, spice with salt, and limit your alcohol intake to once a week at the most. Certain studies have also suggested that calcium can trigger the burning of excess fat by causing a hormone to be produced. Use your calcium with lots of vitamin D as it was proven that the latter helps in the former’s absorption.

As most people can guess, complex carbohydrates, such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, can help you lose weight for a couple of reasons. First off, they are low on calories and high on nutrients, allowing you to nourish yourself appropriately without risking a weight gain. Second of all, they tend to contain large amounts of fiber, stimulating your digestive system and allowing excrements to be expulsed with great efficiency.

Last, but definitely not least, certain recent studies have shown that green tea catechins raise one’s energy while accelerating the weight loss process. Though the studies are preliminary, it is believed that they oxidize the fat, allowing it to be broken, transported and expulsed with greater ease.

A Look at How to use Coconut Oil for Hair Growth Efficiently

A Look at How to use Coconut Oil for Hair Growth Efficiently
Coconut oil is one of those miracles many people had and still have trouble believing, but in this case the skepticism is due to amazing promises rather than any complaints from those who use it. As is always the case, there are people out there who do not know how to use coconut oil for hair growth efficiently, leading to losses of time, money, energy, and of course, an erroneous belief that they have been scammed.

As it turns out, following a few simple instructions for using the oil can make the difference between success and failure, and so if you are a novice on the subject, I heavily recommend you read the paragraphs that follow.

The Standard Procedure

The most common and effective way of maximizing your hair growth results by using coconut oil starts with the warming of the oil, which can be done in a microwave. Typically you would need half a teacup of it, but it can be more or less depending on your specific hairstyle.

Once it has been warmed up, apply some on your fingers and then thoroughly massage your scalp with them, ensuring that the oil covers as much of it as possible. Once you are done massaging the scalp, you can also put some on your hair.

Keep the oil on overnight with the help of a shower cap or saran wrap, and thoroughly wash it off in the morning. That last step is very important for improper washing will lead to clogged pores and follicles, actually worsening your problem.

Other Applications

Apart from the standard answer for how to use coconut oil for hair growth, there are also other ways of integrating it into your daily life. For starters, there are some variants of the product which were designed with cooking in mind, and the nutrients it contains will end up benefiting the growth of your hair, not to mention all the other health benefits you will start feeling.

Coconut oil is also very powerful when used as a conditioner for your hair. You can either take an organic conditioner bottle and mix it with the oil (about 15% to 20% oil), or you can simply prepare some before every shower and use it exactly as you would the conditioner, with an added scalp massage.

And so, those of you wondering how to use coconut oil for hair growth can probably see that it’s far from being rocket science, and if you simply follow the instructions to the letter, the chances of your hair growing faster, stronger, thicker and smoother are quite good.

A Quick Guide on How to Use Olive Oil for Hair Growth Properly

In the last few months olive oil has really gained some traction in the hair growth market, mainly due to its ability to actually help repair and protect your hair without any chemical agents or nasty side effects. Unfortunately, many people don’t know that the oil has to be used properly in order to take effect, and so here is a brief guide on how to use olive oil for hair growth properly.

The Standard Treatment

To begin with, we are going to look at the easiest and most standard way of using the olive oil. To begin,
  • Fill a teacup halfway with it and microwave it until it is warm to the touch without being hot.
  • Take one tablespoon of the oil and pour it into your hands, after which you have to start massaging your scalp in a circular motion with your fingertips.
  • Slowly but surely, move your hands upwards from your follicles until you reach the tips of your hairs. Once the hair is covered with the oil, either use a shower cap or wrap your head in plastic wrap, let it sit for about 30 to 45 minutes, then was it away with shampoo.

Conditioner Mixture

There are two basic ways of using olive oil for hair growth as a conditioner mixture. The first one is to combine the oil with an organic conditioner, making sure the mixture is about 10% oil and 90% conditioner, but these numbers can vary depending on how much hair you have on your head. Needless to say, this process can be a bit of a daunting task to accomplish, which is why you also have the choice of buying pre-made conditioner bottles from various stores (mostly online though).

The other way of doing it is preparing a little bowl of it while you are showering, and then simply rubbing it in your hair with a scalp massage like previously mentioned, after which it is to be washed off like a regular conditioner mixture. Careful not to use too much of it or else your hair will become greasier than you ever intended it to be.

And so, this pretty much concludes the guide on how to use olive oil for hair growth the right way. I’m sure that many people have already come up with other ways of using the oil to fight against hair loss, and if the ones above don’t sound like your thing you can always find new ones using your search engine of preference. Regardless of what you do, remember to stay patient; good results always take a little while to achieve.

The Most Important Benefits of Castor Oil for Hair Growth Known to Man

When we think of the picture-perfect human, no matter which preferences you have, chances are that you imagine him or her with a full head of smooth, shiny, silky and voluptuous hair (unless of course you prefer them to be bald). Unfortunately, keeping your hair that way requires not only a lot of work and dedication, but also a bit of luck, especially in regards to your genetic composition. Naturally, not all is lost as we have invented numerous ways of slowing down the hair loss process, and one of them is the use of hair oils, such as olive or castor oil for instance.

Rich in various important nutrients and fatty acids, these oils have proven to be a valuable weapon in the war on hair loss, especially when it comes to feeding the hair with what it needs to grow, moisturizing the scalp, and stimulating the hair follicles to grow. What follows is a look at the most important benefits of castor oil for hair growth, just to give you an idea of just how powerful such a thing can be.

Benefits of Castor Oil for Hair Growth

Natural Hair Growth Stimulation

Pretty much all castor oil products contain nothing but natural ingredients, and if applied only once a week with a scalp massage, it can keep the hair smooth and shiny, prevent it from becoming dirty, and also stimulate the growth of your hair.

The moisturizing action of the fatty acids in the castor oil, as well as the antioxidants found amongst its nutrients, promote the circulation of blood to the scalp, subsequently stimulating the hair follicles to grow in a completely natural way.

Cosmetic Advantages

Though this certainly is not the most important task castor oil can accomplish, it is certainly worth mentioning that as far as maintenance goes, it has pretty much everything your hair needs to stay strong, thick, shiny and smooth. It can eliminate dandruff and even be used as a post-shampoo conditioner if you wish to add it to your daily routine without losing any time.

Health Benefits you Can’t ignore

Last, but certainly not least, castor oil actually has some health benefits that are definitely worth considering. To begin with, it has many antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, meaning it can prevent the development of nefarious infections on your head, even fixing the problem of brittle hair. In addition, if you have a damaged scalp, the oil can help it to regenerate back to its perfectly functional state

Benefits of Castor Oil for Hair Growth – The Final Word

All things being taken into consideration, even though there certainly are numerous other ways with the help of which you can fight hair loss, but very few of them offer the same combination of guaranteed efficiency, all-natural ingredients (meaning there are no nefarious side effects), and low cost, in terms of both money and effort.

If you are trying to either preserve your hair or stimulate hair growth, then I wholeheartedly recommend you try it, or at the very least have a look at some kind of hair oil… in some cases, they truly have been known to work miracles.
